EDRO III Shipwreck
A cargo ship that ran aground on the Peyia rocks in a 2011 storm and was never recovered. Rust, blue water and the best photo of the day.
Answer what you can โ skip anything you're not sure of.

Four of you in one buggy, side by side inside a roll cage with a roof. The price is for the whole buggy, not per person. Automatic — no gears, nothing to learn.

Drive your own 4-seater in a guided convoy. The long route adds Adonis Baths and the mountain viewpoint. Priced per buggy. Entrance โฌ10 per person, paid on site.

The shorter convoy route: the Edro III shipwreck, the Sea Caves and Adonis Baths. Same 4-seater, same guide, less time.

Two 2-seaters cost โฌ280 for the day and everyone still rides. A 3-seater plus a quad is another way to keep the group together.

Layered limestone cliffs a few minutes along the coast from the wreck, cut into arches and caverns by the sea.

A small working fishing harbour out at Cape Drepano โ a natural break point on the longer routes, coffee and a view of the open Mediterranean.

Inland off the coast road to a freshwater fall and natural pool โ the best swim stop on the route.
Entrance โฌ10 per person, paid on site.

A dirt track climbing the hills above the coast โ the part of the drive that properly feels off-road.

A high viewpoint above Paphos with the hills falling away to the coast below โ worth the stop before heading back.

Every buggy, quad and safari we arrange comes from a local operator with a real, independently verified Google reputation โ not an anonymous rental counter. Real reviews, real reputations.
From €250 a day for the whole buggy, not per person — four of you split one price. A guided 4-seater safari is €200 on the 2.5–3 hour route and €230 on the 4.5 hour route, again per buggy. Exact prices depend on the dates, so message us with what you need and we’ll come back with the real figure.
Yes. There are two 4-seaters in our partner network and both are available for self-drive rental as well as on a guided safari. They are the only self-drive 4-seaters we can arrange in Paphos, so availability is confirmed with the operator before you pay anything.
Four adults, two in front and two behind, inside a roll cage with a roof. The price is the same whether two or four of you travel. There is no minimum age for a child passenger, so a family of four fits in one buggy.
Yes. One 4-seater is €250 for the day; two 2-seaters are €140 each, so €280. The 4-seater also keeps everyone together and only one of you has to drive. If both 4-seaters are already out, two 2-seaters is the usual answer.
The driver needs a valid, normal (non-professional) driving licence and must be 21 or over. Passengers need nothing. No off-road experience is needed — the buggies are automatic, with no gears.
Yes — a refundable €300 security deposit, returned in full when the buggy comes back in good shape. It can be a hold on your card (not charged) or cash left at the office, whichever you prefer. Guided safari tours require no security deposit.
Cancellation and no-show terms depend on the operator that fulfils your booking. We confirm them to you in writing on WhatsApp at the time of booking.
Third-party insurance is included on every rental — that covers damage to other people and their property. Cyprus law doesn’t allow full collision cover on these vehicles, so damage to the buggy itself is down to the driver: the security deposit is used first, and anything above it is settled directly with the operator. Every rental company on the island works this way.
No — a self-drive rental is a full day, and every operator in our network prices it that way. If you only want a few hours of driving, the 2.5–3 hour guided safari is the short option, from €200 for the 4-seater.
On a self-drive rental you can reach Adonis Baths, the Sea Caves, the Edro III shipwreck and Avakas Gorge; Lara Bay is allowed on some vehicles. The Blue Lagoon isn’t permitted on any self-drive rental — the buggy road is closed and it sits outside the area rental agreements cover. Tell us where you want to go before you book and we’ll say what’s permitted.
A standard rental day runs from 9am to between 4pm and 5pm, depending on the operator. An evening return is possible on some vehicles for a small extra charge. Tell us the hours you want when you message and we’ll confirm the vehicle and the exact price before you book.
Yes. Free hotel pickup and drop-off is included with 4-seater rentals in Paphos, Coral Bay and Peyia, and free hotel pickup is included with safari tours.
